How Much Does a Portable Pickleball Court Cost? (2026 Prices)
Our full-size portable pickleball courts, each with a regulation playing area, cost $7,680 to $10,080 plus delivery. A small practice court costs much less, and other brands and tile systems vary widely. Here is exactly what our courts cost, what is included, and how buying compares with renting one or building a permanent court.
PortaCourts prices by court size
Every full-size court has the same regulation 20 × 44 ft playing area. The bigger sizes add room around the lines for players to move.
| Court | Size | Price | Best for |
|---|---|---|---|
| Standard | 21 × 45 ft | $7,680 | Driveways, backyards and tighter spaces |
| Expanded | 24 × 50 ft | $8,680 | Regular play at homes, schools, churches and clubs |
| Premier | 30 × 60 ft | $10,080 | Competitive play, tournaments and large events. Made to order |
| Play Court | 6 × 12 ft | $1,200 | Practice and casual games in a garage, office or driveway. Smaller than a regulation playing area |
What's included
- The court surface in your choice of color, with the court lines printed on
- A Leisure net, or upgrade to the Deluxe net for $1,260 more, built for frequent or competitive play
- Installation tape for the seams
- The setup guide and access to the setup video
- A limited warranty: 3 years for home use, 18 months for commercial use
You do not need contractors or power tools, and because nothing is built, usually no building permit. Two people set up a full-size court in about 30 minutes.
Delivery cost

Every court page shows the estimated delivered price for your region, and the actual freight is calculated at checkout. In the Treasure Valley (Boise, Meridian, Nampa, Eagle and nearby), delivery of purchased courts is free.

Buying vs renting
If you need a court for one event, renting can make sense. Our rental rates for a Standard court run $850 for one day, or $500 a day for a 4 to 7 day rental, plus a net ($200 or $300) and delivery. Self-setup is included, and our crew can set up and take down for $500 per court plus travel. With a Leisure net and local delivery, one Standard court for a day comes to $1,300, so about six one-day rentals cost as much as buying the court. If you will use a court regularly, or for more than a handful of events, buying is usually the better deal, and you keep the court.
Buying vs building a permanent court
A permanent outdoor court is a construction project, and it costs several times more. Court builders' 2026 guides put a single new outdoor court at about $25,000 to $55,000, depending on the base, surfacing, fencing and lighting (Precision Sports, PICKLETILE). Resurfacing an existing slab or court for pickleball runs about $4,000 to $15,000 in the same guides.
If you will play in the same spot most days for years, and you own the land, a permanent court can be worth it. If you want a court in a space that has another job, such as a driveway, gym or parking lot, or you might move, a portable court costs a fraction as much and goes with you. Our portable vs permanent guide walks through the decision.
Other portable courts
Other portable options range from roll-out line kits that only mark a court on an existing surface, to interlocking tile systems and other roll-out mats. They differ a lot in what you get for the money. We compare them side by side, including ours, in the best portable pickleball courts in 2026.
