Limited Warranty
Effective October 15, 2026
We design and build our own courts, and we stand behind them. This limited warranty explains what's covered, for how long, and how to make a claim.
How Long Coverage Lasts
- Courts for home or personal use: 3-year limited warranty.
- Courts for commercial use: 18-month limited warranty. Commercial use means using the court to make money, such as paid court rentals, ticketed or paid-entry events, leagues, clinics, or an operator business.
- Nets, paddles, and accessories: 1-year limited warranty, including the net that comes with a court.
Coverage starts on the date your order is delivered and applies to the original purchaser, with proof of purchase.
What's Covered
Defects in materials and workmanship under normal use, when the court is set up, used, and stored as described in our Court Setup Guide. For example:
- The acrylic top coat separating from the core
- Cracking or splitting of the court surface
- Manufacturing defects along the edges of a roll
- Printed court lines peeling away from the surface
What's Not Covered
- Normal wear, such as gradual fading, loss of surface texture, and scuffs
- Folding or creasing the rolls, storing them wet, or storing heavy objects on them
- Using glue or adhesive on the court
- Damage from sharp objects, cleats, vehicles, or furniture
- Setting up on gravel, loose material, or uneven ground, or on anything other than a firm, flat, hard surface
- Floods, storms, and other weather events
- Slight color variation on custom-color courts
- Event, setup, labor, or other costs beyond the court itself
What We'll Do
If a court has a covered defect, we'll repair or replace the affected roll or rolls, at our choice, and ship the replacement at no charge. For nets, paddles, and accessories, we'll repair or replace the item.
Damaged in Shipping
Shipping damage is handled separately from this warranty. Please tell us within 48 hours of delivery:
- Full-size courts arrive by freight truck in a crate. Check the crate before you sign, and note any damage on the carrier's delivery receipt. That record lets us file a claim with the carrier for you.
- The Play Court, paddles, and gear arrive by parcel. Email us photos of the damage and the box, and keep the packaging until we've sorted it out.
How to Make a Claim
- Email support@portacourts.com with your order number
- Describe the problem and include photos
- We'll reply within 1-2 business days
This warranty doesn't change our Refund Policy, which covers returns. It gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that vary from state to state.
